About Dr Bruce Duff

Dr Bruce Duff graduated in 1971 from the University of Sydney. He began his medical career in major small animal practices on Sydney’s north shore before returning to University of Sydney for his Diploma in Veterinary Pathology. In 1976 Dr Duff formed Bruce Duff Laboratories – one of the first general pathology laboratories for veterinary surgeons in Australia which also offered radiology, surgery and an after-hours emergency service. In 1986 Bruce Duff Laboratories was amalgamated into Macquarie Pathology to form Macquarie Vetnostic Services (MVS). In 1991, Dr Duff was awarded an Associate Fellowship from the Australian Institute of Management. He went on to graduate with a Master of Commerce from the University of NSW in 1991. Over the past 30 years Dr Duff has involved himself in the development and provision of quality and cost-effective veterinary pathology for the Australian veterinary profession. Dr Duff is currently the pathologist in charge of the day-to-day running of Vetnostics (NSW).
